Wendy Tamis has enjoyed a successful career playing weddings, parties and other casuals for over 30 years.  She has played at many beautiful venues, including the Brazilian Room, the Lafayette Park Hotel & Spa, the Hacienda de las Flores and Wente Vineyards, among others.  She has also played in restaurants, most recently Scott’s in Walnut Creek, for Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Valentine’s Day and Mother’s Day.

In addition to her casual work, Ms. Tamis has an active career as an orchestral harpist.  She holds the post of principal harpist with the Berkeley Symphony Orchestra and the Fremont Symphony Orchestra, and performs regularly with many Bay Area orchestras throughout the year.  In addition, she has played many musicals in San Francisco, as well as with theater companies in the greater Bay Area.
